This course requires an enrolment keyIn this course we will consider major philosophical theories of terms like, "right," "wrong," "good," and "bad," as well as the metaphysical implications of these accounts.During the quarter, we will consider a wide variety of theories that posit moral "facts" to reside anywhere from within the individual to within the commands of a deity.The most fundamental goal of this course is to provide students the background and the tools with which to pursue their own ongoing ethical investigations in a philosophically rigorous fashion.
