- In this course we will consider major philosophical theories of terms like, "right," "wrong," "good," and "bad," as well as the metaphysical implications of these accounts.During the quarter, we will consider a wide variety of theories that posit moral "facts" to reside anywhere from within the individual to within the commands of a deity.The most fundamental goal of this course is to provide students the background and the tools with which to pursue their own ongoing ethical investigations in a philosophically rigorous fashion.
